Stephen Richins, a Physician Assistant, works for Dr. Walaliyadda in our Rigby office! He has been providing care here for six years.
Stephen was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to a wonderful family where he was one of nine children. His family then moved to Oklahoma. Yet, Steve must have missed the west because he came back to attend school at Ricks College. He also attended school at Brigham Young University in Provo Utah, University of Utah and University of Nebraska.
He married a Kansas country girl who he loves dearly. They now have six children, two sons-in-law, and one very adorable granddaughter.
Stephen loves spending time with his family doing a variety of activities. He and his family do everything from overnight camping trips to extended vacations, supporting each other in sports activities and playing sports together. They also have fun staying at home watching videos and visiting around the dinner table.
He served a short humanitarian mission in Mexico and a two- year mission for the Church of Latter-Day Saints in Ireland. Steve volunteered at the Fourth Street Homeless Clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Stephen said, “I enjoy my job. I enjoy the people that I work with. I enjoy our patients.”
